Co-working spaces in Monrovia?

Hello, We have two kids and Median household income is $97,083, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Monrovia sits at 117.1 per 100K. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Baltimore about 5 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a HR manager, 58, moved here 12 years ago from Raleigh. I've lived in West and Sunset, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally underrated - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Property taxes are high
3. The healthcare situation is pricey and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- West: Great for remote workers. surprisingly good vibes, walkable.
- Sunset: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Raleigh, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are reasonable. Gas is affordable. You can live comfortably on $40K-$130K here.

**Final verdict:**
Would recommend to anyone considering it.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
