It's a a smaller city city with about 37,553 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in finance. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
