What Monrovia does better than anywhere else

I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $2,009 for rent here. Am I overthinking this? Thanks for reading.

Used to live on the South side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely pretty good and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (East) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I work in tech here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is tough. Hope this helps!.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The traffic is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
