Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 29,772 people. With a population of 29,772, Monterey is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
