First post here. Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $1,003,300 on average. Rent is about $2,288/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Monterey? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
