Hi all, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 8.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 29,772 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much established but now it's challenging.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The community vibe is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in South area are underrated. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Denver about 4 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.
