Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a small town city with about 1,635 people. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $26,797 in Montgomery. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
