Is Montour Falls a good place to live?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 17 months ago and Average temperature is around 45--F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Westside area are decent. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The weather is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
