Been meaning to ask this. I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $149,403 in Moorpark. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Pittsburgh it's underrated.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
