I work in finance and Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Morgan Hill sits at 112.8 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is average in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 12 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
