Thinking about relocating to Morgan Hill from Houston

Random thought, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $1,127,600 on average. The median home value here is around $1,127,600, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $159,758, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? Cheers. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

I work in retail here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is hit or miss. No regrets on my end..
