Honest thoughts on life in Moyock

Random thought, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,686 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Moyock sits at 501.1 per 100K. Homes are going for about $391,800 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..
