Nederland in the winter -how bad?

First post here. I've been here for 10 years and It's a a small town city with about 18,475 people. Homes are going for about $196,600 on average. Household incomes average around $75,502 in Nederland. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
