Best neighborhoods in New Braunfels

Curious what people think. Just moved here 8 months ago and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $1,536/month for a decent place. Median household income is $88,257, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $315,100 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in Eastside for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The dating scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
