Curious what people think. I work in healthcare and It's a a smaller city city with about 98,700 people. Crime rate is something to consider -New Braunfels sits at 246.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,536/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I overthinking this? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
