New Braunfels job market vs Baltimore
Hi all, I'm single, late 40s, and Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I wrong here?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Happy to answer more specific questions..
