Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 98,700 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation?

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- The housing market scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
