How is Newmarket for outdoor activities?

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Is Newmarket worth it salary-wise?

So, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $83,871 in Newmarket. Rent is about $1,668/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience? Appreciate any input.
