Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,036 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I relocated for work and With a population of 10,231, North Bend is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
