Is North Decatur walkable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -North Decatur sits at 148.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $110,366 in North Decatur. You can expect to pay around $1,750 for rent here. Poverty rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $459,000 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
