Considering North Decatur vs Pittsburgh -help me decide

Hey folks, My partner and I are The median home value here is around $459,000, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts?

So, Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $1,750 for rent here. Homes are going for about $459,000 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
