Hey, Rent is about $1,226/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $300,000, which seems about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Uptown for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
- The safety scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a electrician and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
