Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 101K, Norwalk is a mid-size city. Poverty rate is 7.3%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $616,600, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $2,014 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
