What to expect moving to Norwalk?

Hey folks, I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 7.3%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $616,600, which is pretty steep. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
