Oak Harbor quality of life -am I missing something?

First post here. We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $421,700, which is pretty steep. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

I work in education here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is improving. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
