Housing market in Ocean City right now

Anyone else feel this way? Household incomes average around $56,160 in Ocean City. Rent is about $1,340/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Ocean City sits at 340.0 per 100K. With a population of 6,480, Ocean City is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Easy commute
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited dining options
- Lack of diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
