Housing market in Oceano right now

I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $518,500, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,424/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Nice parks and trails
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
