Anyone work in healthcare in Old Tappan?

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Rent is about $3,241/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective. The weather takes some getting used to.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 13 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The nightlife is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..
