Top 5 things I love about Paincourtville

Anyone else feel this way? Crime rate is something to consider -Paincourtville sits at 639.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 1,455 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Friendly people
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Limited cultural events
Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The housing market is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a chef and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
