Dog-friendly places in Palm Coast?

Hey, Military spouse here. It's a a smaller city city with about 94,362 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks in advance! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely underrated and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Fairview for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The dating scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
