Working remotely from Palm Coast

Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $317,200, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,747 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great seafood places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
