Hey, We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $359,600 on average. With a population of 61,454, Palm Harbor is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $359,600, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2015 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Nashville about 6 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Hope this helps!.

I'm a pharmacist and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is improving and there's always something going on.
