Remote worker thinking about Palmerton

OK so I relocated for work and The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Should I be concerned?

How much do you pay for rent in Palmerton?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
