Job market in Palmview for tech?

Hey, Homes are going for about $109,400 on average. You can expect to pay around $689 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from New York about 2 years ago. The main reasons were school and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is solid.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Springfield for 5 years. Moved from Chicago for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is pretty good. We bought in 2024 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
construction is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are reasonable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is better than expected - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Springfield schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Road conditions need improvement. Dating scene is rough. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 5/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is tough in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
