Internet providers in Pearl City?

Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely underrated and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (The Heights) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in education. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Fairview area are tough. Kids love it here.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'm a real estate agent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.
