Honest thoughts on life in Pembroke Park

First post here. Been living here since 2008. Crime rate is something to consider -Pembroke Park sits at 750.2 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Anyone in a similar situation?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 6 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is average in most areas.
