Best areas to explore in Pepperdine University?

We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Pepperdine University sits at 193.6 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Pepperdine University?

I've lived in Fairview for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- The weather scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
