Is Pewee Valley worth it salary-wise?

Alright, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $532,900, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $532,900 on average. With a population of 1,417, Pewee Valley is a small town. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Moved here from San Francisco about 10 years ago. the quality of life is solid. Still getting used to public transit but Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
