Rent vs buy in Phelan -what makes sense?

Random thought, The median home value here is around $357,200, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much growing but now it's tough.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.
