I'm a teacher here and Am I wrong here? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Came here for work and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The public transit is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Boston it's challenging.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The weather is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
