Should I move to Pleasanton or stay in Houston?

So, Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $203,100, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Pleasanton sits at 329.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 12.0%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $65,602 in Pleasanton. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a social worker and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Springfield for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- The dating scene scene is average

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
