First post here. I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 21.2%, which is higher than I expected. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
