Hello, It's a a smaller city city with about 97,299 people. With a population of 97,299, Portsmouth is a smaller city. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
