Living in Portsmouth -the reality

I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 14.7%, which is around average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Moved here from Charlotte about 7 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to cultural scene but Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
