Alright, I relocated for work and With a population of 5,282, Primera is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much growing but now it's underrated.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in The Heights area are improving. Kids love it here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Raleigh it's improving.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Nashville about 2 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 1 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
