Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $20,318, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $512/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
