Rent in Pukalani getting crazy

Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 5 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Pukalani sits at 232.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $120,707 in Pukalani. With a population of 8,490, Pukalani is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it exceeded my expectations.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 4 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
