Is it worth buying in Pullman?

We're a young couple and The median home value here is around $401,700, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $45,097, which feels on the lower side for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Springfield. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in education. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
