What Pullman does better than anywhere else

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,010/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Eastside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Chicago it's tough.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is challenging in most areas.
