Hello, I'm single, late 20s, and Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $796 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Summers can be brutally hot
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Hope this helps!.
